About Conroy Law Offices
Mr. Conroy was graduated from the university of Notre Dame and the Georgetown University Law Center. After graduation, he served as law clerk for the Honorable Giles S. Rich, on what is now the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
He has practiced law for over 30 years in Philadelphia, Washington and West Chester. He has been an adjunct professor of law at the Georgetown University Law Center and Chief Counsel of the United States Economic Development Administration in Washington and served briefly as the U.S. delegate to the committee on regional development of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris. In Philadelphia and West Chester, he has been in the private practice of law with a concentration on financial matters and estate planning. He has addressed professional groups on related subjects under the sponsorship of the American Bar Association, the Ford Foundation, the National Association of Development Organizations, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and various other organizations.
He has served on the boards of the St. Agnes Parish Home and School Association, the Chester County Association for Retarded Citizens (now ARC), and the Salvation Army in West Chester. He has been a member of the Republican National Committee's sub-committee on small business.
He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, Virginia and District of Columbia bar associations and of sections on business law and estates. He is also a member of the Chester County Estate Planning Council and Chester County Bar Association.
